What is Deionized water?

Deionized water is a form of pure, clean water purified by removing atoms, ions, and molecules from tap water through an ion exchange process. Deionization removed dissolved particles such as salt (sodium chloride), minerals, carbon dioxide, organic contaminants, and other impurities from water. We deionize the water in Smidge® Ionic Liquid Boron Silica Drops so the naturally occurring minerals in the water do not compete with the nutritional value or the boron and silica.
